In 2019, Enfield Council declared a climate emergency and committed to making the borough of Enfield carbon neutral by 2040.

 

The Council are looking at ways it could support residents and businesses in reducing their carbon impacts. They are currently considering the benefits of the delivery of locally based carbon offset projects. These projects would contribute towards reduction or removal of carbon emissions, whilst also delivering other social benefits.
