GDPR, is Your Business Prepared?
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25th May 2018 and introduced a single set of rules across the EU. In the UK GDPR replaces the Data Protection Act and is designed to enable individuals to better control their personal data. If your business holds personal information such as names, addresses, emails, customer lists, suppliers lists, HR records etc. – you need to ensure you are compliant, failure to do so could mean a heavy fine!
