with the Inspiring Creative Enterprise Programme
About the programme
This is a 10-week fully- funded programme is designed to help you explore ideas, and develop the skills and confidence needed to take the first steps towards starting a creative enterprise. Starting on 27th January 2027, the programme will be delivered through a range of webinars, in-person seminars and 121 advice sessions. All the support is FREE as it is fully supported by The RSA Trust and delivered by Enterprise Enfield.
Who is it for?
This programme is aimed at young people (18 - 35 years) who are living in Enfield and would like to explore creative self‑employment. If you are interested in creative fields - which can include anything from visual arts, music, digital media, to crafts and fashion- and.you are looking for ways to transform your future - this course could be for you. Eligible applicants must also either be on a low income, or economically inactive (not working or unemployed) and not have registered a business with HMRC or Companies House.
What does it offer?
The programme offers participants a blend of creative practice, confidence‑building, as well as an introduction to enterprise skills. Participants will:

Price your work, earn money & budget

Understand your audience

Build your brand & sell yourself

Create effective content for digital marketing

Produce work to showcase your skills

Build confidence, strengthen your creative and enterprise skills
At the end of the programme you will receive peer feedback, participate in a light-touch pitching exercise and receive 121 guidance on the next steps, including help and support available through Enterprise Enfield and other external organisations.
Are You Eligible?
To be eligible to apply for this free programme you must not already be running your own business and you must:

Be aged between 18 - 35 years (as at 27th January 2027)

Be living in the borough of Enfield

Be economically inactive (not working or unemployed), OR on a low income
-
Be interested in creative fields (this can include: visual arts, music, digital media, crafts, fashion etc)

Be able to commit to the 10 week period of the course - and attend all the in-person and online sessions (click to download the schedule of sessions with dates).

You should not have already registered a business with HMRC or Companies House. (You can be test trading as long as you haven't registered a business).
