Maja is Macedonian and has been living in the UK for the past 20 years. She has a solid track record in interior design and has been working in this area as a freelance designer since 2007. She couples her extensive knowledge in drawing preparations, product sourcing, and 3D CAD with an extensive design portfolio. In June 2015 she re-launched and re branded her business as Spicy Lemon London, creating unique homes of understated luxury - specialising in customised solutions for kitchens and bathrooms as well as bespoke, personalised furniture curated from worldwide brands, complimented with designer accessories. Each design is coupled with meticulous planning, project management and sourcing of luxury goods suitable for individual clients and architects.

Why I started my business
I am passionate about interiors and artisan products and wish to share this with the world! I am proud of the projects I undertake and place clients at the very core of that experience by making every project personal and individual. I have secured solid relationships with many UK brands and source customized luxury products worldwide dealing directly with each manufacturer. Within my team I encourage individuality and diversity whilst adding value to long term cooperation and building strong lasting relationships. I mirror this approach when dealing with my suppliers and strongly believe in promoting this in all other aspects of the business.
My proudest achievements in business
I thrive on working with other designers and value these collaborations. As a result I formed several new collaborations with renowned UK artists which will allow me to launch a bespoke ceramics range and luxury fabrics range, exclusive to Spicy Lemon London in 2018. In addition to the above, I am working on finalising my new e-commerce website set to launch spring 2018.
