Susanna Paisio is a multifaceted, Enfield-based artist, who divides her time between composing music, performing arts, voice acting and an array of other creative feats. After graduating from The University of Turin with a master’s degree in the History of Theatre, Susanna has since been working as a professional actress and musician.  Her training includes RADA, Turin Conservatoire and HE Certificate in Music Performance.

 

As well as performing at gigs and events, including the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant in 2022, the British Italian Society and a theatre tour in the International schools of Netherlands and Germany, Susanna also undertakes voice-over work - most recently with Amazon Italy. She is currently working on composing and releasing her original Mystic Pop music from her home recording studio. Her music is inspired by her profound appreciation of the arts, including the writing of Vita Sackville West and Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī, and the stylings of fellow musicians such Jack White, David Bowie and the Italian Songwriters.

 

Susanna approached Enterprise Enfield for help with boosting her online presence and developing the quality of her promotional material to enhance her brand. She registered for the E-business Programme and had an initial meeting with her appointed Business Adviser, Liz Gjoni, which involved a digital diagnostic – to identify key areas to focus on, in order to achieve her goals.

 

Subsequent zoom meetings with Digital Experts working on the Programme enabled Susanna to explore ways in which she could utilise digital marketing to promote her creative brand.  This included discussing the creation of a low-cost website; ways to ensure her social media is effective and reviewing her profiles on acting websites, such as Spotlight – to maximise her services as a voice actor and singer.  

 

“The E-business 121 support and webinars have provided crucial support for my creative brand; I have learnt the importance of time management and organisation, and how apps and technology can help me to save time and focus on developing my craft. I am more conscious of what I can do myself, and what I can delegate to external professionals such as social media agencies, music producers and videographers. I now understand how to utilise digital tools to help my creative business thrive and have developed a more receptive and resilient attitude towards a world which is increasingly tech focused.”
